FISHER Fisher M-101 Metal Detector

The Fisher M-101 Metal Detector, also known as the Valve, Box & Ferro Magnetic Locator, is specifically designed for locating reinforcing bars (rebars) and other metal objects embedded in concrete, conduits, wiring, wall studs, and other metallic objects. It offers accuracy up to 1/4″ of the centerline of the rebar.

With the M-101, adjusting the penetration control allows for maximum depth penetration for detecting metals. It features a preset circuit that eliminates ground effects caused by highly mineralized materials and minimizes false signals due to loop movement.

In addition to locating embedded metals, the M-101 can effectively detect small metal items carried by individuals. It is more sensitive than average low-cost metal detectors used in airports, allowing for greater detection distance from the search loop. The search loop and cord of the M-101 are waterproof, enabling searches in water up to the control box.
