The Fisher WLT Water Level Indicator is a cost-effective and reliable tool designed for measuring water levels in wells. It provides accurate water level data by indicating contact with the water surface through an LED light and an audio alert.
The WLT features a brass electrode assembly with a diameter of 3/8″. This assembly can be easily replaced in the field if necessary. Additionally, there is an option to special order the WLT with a 1/2″ diameter brass electrode assembly.
The cable used with the WLT is a two-conductor steel and copper-plated cable. It has a tensile strength of approximately 300 pounds and is covered with a durable plastic insulating jacket. The cable is mounted on a handheld spool and stand, allowing for convenient extraction and retraction of the cable and electrode assembly.
To provide depth measurements, the cable is equipped with numbered metal tags that are securely crimped at intervals of five feet. On the metric model WLTM, the tags are placed at every meter, facilitating easy depth indication during use.
