FISHER M-97 Metal 8″ Coil Detector

The Fisher M-97 Metal Detector is a specialized tool designed for locating buried or paved-over valves, boxes, manhole covers, and other concealed metallic objects. It is capable of detecting targets made of aluminum, brass, and lead.

The built-in speaker has an impedance of 16 ohms, and there is also a headset option with an impedance of 8 ohms. The audio frequency is set at 450 kHz.

The M-97 Metal Detector is powered by two 9V batteries, providing sufficient operating time in the field. The search coil is immersible in water, allowing for underwater detection as needed.
