Choose the Target View: Before or during the scan, you have the option to choose your target view. Enjoy 2D smooth target shapes with outlined properties, colorful and detailed. Click on the 3D view to see the entire 3D scan of the underground or zoom in on specific areas of interest. The 3D view automatically rotates to highlight target shapes from any viewing angle, providing a comprehensive analysis. Numerous features for all graphic views assist in target analysis.
Select the Best Sweep Direction: Unlike other systems that limit you to searching only from right to left, the GEO EXAMINER offers 8 sweep directions to choose from. Based on the starting position, field shape, and obstacles in your way, select the most suitable sweep direction for scanning the field. Simply input the number of sweep lines and steps per line required to cover the area, and the GEO EXAMINER will guide you with voice commands on when to step or turn to the next sweep line.
2 Data Collection Modes – Manual or Auto: For uneven ground where maintaining a standard pace is challenging, select manual mode. As you step or move the probes (depending on the mode used), click on “CAPTURE” to see what is found. On flat ground, use auto mode and input the estimated time (in seconds) for your stepping. Click “START,” and the computer will provide voice and visual signals to instruct you when to step, turn, or finalize the survey. Your ears prompt you to step, turn, or stop, while your eyes immediately see the results. If obstacles such as trees or rocks are encountered, simply pause the data logger, pass the obstacle, and restart.
The Replay Tool Assures No Target is Left Behind: With the GEO EXAMINER’s unique “replay” function, you can import a stored image from the hard drive and view it step by step on the screen. Relax in the comfort of your home and select “replay” to see the scan reenacted on the GEO EXAMINER screen. This feature allows you to compare scans from different sweep directions and modes on the same site, validating your target. The “replay” tool guarantees that weak responses from small or very deep targets will be clearly viewable. As the “replay” continues and the big target is encountered, the smaller target will fade, giving you the opportunity to investigate the suspected spot again, leaving the big target out of your new scan. The GEO EXAMINER 3D Metal Detector Ground Radar performs full target image analysis and depth calculations on the field, eliminating the need to transfer data files to a laptop for higher resolution images and avoiding additional costs for special software.
