The GDI PRO – ACCUMASTER VII is a professional geological gold detector designed to reliably locate ground voids, which are popular places for hiding gold treasures such as caves, tunnels, bunkers, and tombs. The Pro Accumaster VII is specifically designed to locate large masses of gold, metals, mineral ore, and subsurface water. It offers high accuracy in detecting these targets, making it a valuable tool for professionals in various fields. Unlike handheld metal detectors, the Pro Accumaster VII has the advantage of rejecting small objects buried near the ground surface, such as metal trash fragments, gun shells, and aluminum foil. This allows users to focus on finding larger, deep-buried gold targets, such as treasure chests.
Using the Pro Accumaster VII is straightforward and does not require extensive experience. The detector panel is housed in a waterproof carry case and includes an external 12-volt / 7.2 Ah battery for convenience and portability.
To use the Pro Accumaster VII, four ground rods are supplied and hammered into the soil in a square format, covering the suspected area of up to 314 square meters. Each ground rod is connected to the detector panel through a wire, and the panel features numbered test switches for every probe pair. There are a total of six switches, including the four sides and the two diagonal pairs (X readings) of the square. By pressing the corresponding test switch, each probe pair transmits a high electrical voltage known as a “carrier wave” into the ground.
The Pro Accumaster VII instantly measures and displays the total electrical resistivity value received from the area between the probes on a target meter. The underground resistivity changes based on factors such as voids, metals, or water. The target meter features a scale in OHM resistivity values with colored categories for metals (gold, silver, copper, iron), minerals, water deposits, and ground voids. This provides users with valuable information about the nature of the targets detected.
